Please read this notice carefully before using any recipe.
Not medical advice
This book is a collection of recipes and general information about gluten-free cooking. It is not medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, and it is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Nothing in it is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, including celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, and wheat allergy. If you have or suspect you have a medical condition, consult a physician or a registered dietitian before changing your diet.
If you have not been diagnosed, do not start a gluten-free diet before speaking to a doctor. Celiac testing requires gluten in your system to be accurate, and removing it beforehand can produce a false negative that follows you for years.
You are responsible for verifying every ingredient
The recipes specify gluten-free versions of processed ingredients. They do not, and cannot, identify specific safe brands or products. Product formulations, manufacturing facilities, sourcing, and labeling change without notice and vary between countries and regions. It is your responsibility to read the packaging of every product you use, on every occasion, and to satisfy yourself that it is gluten-free and appropriate for your individual medical needs. Where a recipe calls for a certified gluten-free ingredient, use a product that carries such certification.
No testing or certification is claimed
The recipes were developed and prepared in a domestic kitchen. They have not been laboratory tested for gluten content. Neither the recipes nor any dish prepared from them is certified gluten-free by any certifying body. No representation is made that any dish prepared according to these recipes will contain less than any particular concentration of gluten. This book carries no certification mark, because certification marks are issued to food products made in audited facilities and cannot be issued to a book.
Cross-contamination
Preventing cross-contamination in your own kitchen, including the condition of your equipment, surfaces, and storage, is outside the control of this book and is your responsibility. A dish made from entirely gluten-free ingredients can still make you ill if it is cooked in shared oil, shared water or the wrong pan.
Allergens other than gluten
These recipes are not free of other allergens. They may contain or be adapted to contain dairy, eggs, nuts, peanuts, soy, fish, shellfish, sesame, and other allergens. If you have additional allergies or intolerances, check every ingredient against your own requirements.
Regional differences
Labeling law, permitted thresholds, certification schemes, and ingredient availability differ between countries. Information that references any particular regulatory standard is provided for general orientation only and may not apply where you live.
No warranty; limitation of liability
This book, the free kit and the printable sheets are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or completeness. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the author and publisher accept no liability for any loss, injury, illness, adverse reaction, or damage of any kind arising directly or indirectly from the use of these materials, from reliance on any information in them, or from the preparation or consumption of any dish described in them.
Your use of these materials constitutes acceptance of this notice. If you do not accept it, do not use the recipes.
Terms of sale
Safe to Eat is a digital product. On purchase you receive an immediate download of the book in EPUB and PDF format, plus a permanent download link by email. There is no physical shipment and no subscription; it is a single payment.
Payment, invoicing and sales tax are handled by our reseller, who acts as merchant of record for the transaction. Their name will appear on your card statement and on the receipt they issue you.
The license you receive is personal. You may read the book on every device you own and print pages for your own use. You may not resell it, redistribute it, upload it to a file-sharing service, or reproduce substantial parts of it in another publication. The free starter kit and the printable sheets are different: those may be shared freely, so long as they are shared unchanged and in full.
Refunds
If the book is not what you expected, write to us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund it. You do not have to explain why, and you do not have to delete your copy first — we would rather you kept a book that did not suit you than argue about a download.
Refunds are processed by the merchant of record and return to the card you paid with. Consumers in the EU and UK also have statutory rights that this policy does not restrict.
Before buying, read the free starter kit. It is written the same way and it costs nothing — the best way to avoid needing a refund is to know first.
Privacy
What we collect
If you request the free kit or subscribe to the list, we hold your email address and the date you subscribed. Nothing else — no name, no address, no browsing profile.
If you buy the book, the merchant of record collects the billing information the transaction requires and shares with us only what is needed to deliver the file and honour a refund. We never see or store your card details.
What we do with it
We use your email address to send you the kit you asked for, and occasionally to send new recipe packs, seasonal collections, and notes when labeling rules change. That is all. We do not sell, rent, or pass your address to anyone, and we do not use it to build an advertising profile.
How to leave
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. It works immediately. You can also write to us and ask for your address to be deleted, and we will delete it — not “suppress” it, delete it — and confirm when it is done.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, UK or a jurisdiction with comparable law, you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to receive a copy. Write to the address below and we will answer within 30 days. There is not much to send: it will be one email address and one date.
Who else touches your data
Two companies: our email provider, which stores the list and sends the mail, and our reseller, which processes payments and delivers files. Both are bound by their own data protection terms. Nobody else.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies at all. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising pixels, nothing that follows you across the web. The pages make no third-party requests either — even the typefaces are served from this domain, so no other company learns that you were here. The checkout page belongs to our reseller and uses the cookies it needs to process a payment; those are described in their own policy.

Contact
One address, read by a person, for everything: questions about the book, refunds, privacy requests, licensing, and corrections.
If you have found a mistake in a recipe — a measurement that does not work, an ingredient that should carry a check and does not — please write. Corrections go into the next revision and the updated file goes out to everyone who bought it, at no cost. That is the whole point of a digital book.
